In-house magazines constituted the largest group of periodicals published under the banner of "Solidarity". In Wrocław, they appeared as early as September 1980. They reported on the situation in workplace facilities, brought national news and commentaries, and their role grew after martial law was imposed. Today, they are an invaluable source for studying the history of the trade union. At the Ossolineum Library, they were collected unofficially and with great dedication from the 1980s onwards, hidden in the stacks under "unassigned call numbers". This work continues today as Ossolineum keeps expanding the collection. The digital archive showcases the richness of Wrocław's press across three periods: the "Solidarity Carnival" (1980–1981), underground titles, and transition-era press (1989–1990).
